ROYAL COLLEGE OF NURSING (RCN) ACCREDITATION

The Royal College of Nursing (RCN) "Accreditation Unit" has awarded 7 study hours for the Therapeutic Endoscopy Course for Endoscopy Nurse Assistants & Nurse Consultants (TECNA). This programme has been accredited by the RCN Centre for Professional Accreditation (accreditation renewed on an annual basis). Accreditation applies only to the educational content of the programme and does not apply to any product.

Delegates attending the course will be provided with a course manual. This course manual consists of several chapters, colourful illustrative figures, images and tables. The Royal college of Nursing (RCN) "Accreditation Unit" has outlined learning objectives for delegates attending the course based on the course manual.

UNIVERSITY OF THE WEST OF ENGLAND ACCREDITATION

The University of the West of England (UWE) accredits the TECNA course for 20 academic credits (at levels 1, 2, 3 or Masters) through completion of the work based learning (WBL) module. For further detailed information please refer to the attached PDF file above .

UNIVERSITY OF CUMBRIA ACCREDITATION

The University of Cumbria accredits the TECNA course for 20-40 academic credits (at Diploma, Degree and Masters Level ) through completion of the work based learning (WBL) module. The credits gained from this module can be used towards a Diploma, University Advanced Diploma, Degree or Masters qualification.
